Heartbroken Family Wonders if Hypopituitarism Led to Son’s Suicide

Joanna and Christopher LaneA mother in the U.K. has become an advocate for pituitary awareness – after her 31 year old son ended his own life after battling hypopituitarism. He fell from a tree at age seven and spent a week in a coma. Doctors told the family that the boy developed hypopituitarism as a result of the head injury. He became impotent and suffered from depression and eventually committed suicide. Read their story in the Croydon Advertiser here.
