Air Care Alliance

Using their own time and general aviation aircraft, pilot volunteers from the many public benefit flying organizations help hundreds of people each month. They and many other non-flying volunteers work to transport patients in need to facilities where they are able to receive medical attention they might otherwise have to do without.

Air Charity Network

Air Charity Network is comprised of network member organizations who cover specific geographical service areas and coordinate volunteer pilot flights in the continental United States as well as Alaska and Hawaii.

Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic

Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic (AFMA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization utilizing over 550 volunteer pilots to transport patients to specialized medical care. We are a coordinating service matching volunteer pilots willing to donate their time and aircraft to the individuals in need.

Co-Pay Relief

PAF Co-Pay Relief (CPR) provides direct financial assistance to qualified patients, assisting them with prescription drug co-payments their insurance requires relative to their diagnosis.

Good Days

Good Days exists to improve the health and quality of life of patients with chronic disease, cancer, or other life-altering conditions. At Good Days, our mission is to ensure no one has to choose between getting the medication they need and affording the necessities of everyday living.

Hospitality Homes

Hospitality Homes is a nonprofit organization that provides short-term housing in volunteer host homes for families and friends of patients receiving medical care in the Boston area. Our services are free of charge and are made possible by the generosity of our volunteer hosts and supporters.

National Association of Hospital Hospitality Houses, Inc.

The Healthcare Hospitality Network, Inc. (HHN) is a nationwide professional association of nearly 200 unique, nonprofit organizations that provide lodging and support services to patients, families and their loved ones who are receiving medical treatment far from their home communities.

National Patient Travel Center

The National Patient Travel Center provides information about all forms of charitable, long-distance medically-related transportation and provides referrals to all appropriate sources of help available in the national charitable medical transportation network.

Needy Meds

NeedyMeds is a national non-profit organization that maintains a website of free information on programs that help people who can’t afford medications and healthcare costs. More than 1.3 million patients, family members, healthcare professionals, social workers and patient advocates use the NeedyMeds website each year. We regularly update data on over 9,000 assistance programs, 15,000 free/low-cost/sliding scale clinics and nearly 1,500 drug discount coupons. We also publish information about resources for specific diseases. All our information is accessible online, at no charge and without registration.

PAN Foundation

The Patient Access Network Foundation is an independent, national 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing underinsured patients with financial assistance through more than 50 disease-specific funds that provide access to progressive therapies. Since 2004, PAN has provided more than 700,000 underinsured patients with over $2.5 billion dollars in financial assistance to cover out-of-pocket expenses for their prescribed treatments.

Partnership for Prescription Assistance

Our mission is to increase awareness of patient assistance programs and boost enrollment of eligible individuals. We offer a single point of access to more than 475 public and private programs, including about 200 programs offered by biopharmaceutical companies. We’ve helped millions of Americans to get prescription drugs for free or at very low cost drugs.

Patient Advocate Foundation

Patient Advocate Foundation is a national non-profit organization that serves as an active liaison between the patient and their insurer, employer and/or creditors to resolve insurance, job discrimination and/or debt crisis matters relative to their diagnosis through case managers, doctors and attorneys. Patient Advocate Foundation seeks to safeguard patients through effective mediation assuring access to care, maintenance of employment and preservation of their financial stability.

Patient Services Incorporated

PSI is the “ground breaking” 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization of its kind. For nearly two decades, PSI has helped people who live with certain chronic illnesses or conditions locate suitable health insurance coverage and access ways to satisfy expensive co-payments. PSI provides assistance with the cost of health insurance premiums associated with COBRAs, State High Risk Pools, Open enrollment, Guaranteed Issue policies, HIPAA conversion policies; and prescriptions co-payments associated with private insurance as well as with Medicare Parts B and D.

RX Assist

Patient assistance programs are run by pharmaceutical companies to provide free medications to people who cannot afford to buy their medicine. RxAssist offers a comprehensive database of these patient assistance programs, as well as practical tools, news, and articles so that health care professionals and patients can find the information they need. All in one place.

Southwest Airlines Medical Transportation Grant Program

Through the Southwest Airlines Medical Transportation Grant Program (MTGP) we provide complimentary, roundtrip tickets to nonprofit hospitals and medical transportation organizations. Southwest allows participating nonprofit hospitals and medical transportation nonprofit organizations the freedom to determine how to distribute the tickets to patients and/or caregivers.

State Prescription Assistance Programs

There are a number of prescription drug assistance programs in each state of the U.S. Some of these programs, such as the Extra Help program, are designed to support Medicare beneficiaries, while some other available resources can also support state residents who are not enrolled in Medicare.
