Who Should Attend
Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, nurses and other healthcare professionals with an interest in the application of best practices involving pituitary physiology, pituitary tumors, and other neuro-endocrine disorders.
- Recognize abnormal findings involving the pituitary gland and surrounding structures on radiographic studies and refer to appropriate specialist once anomaly is identified.
- Describe the current WHO 2017 Pituitary Pathology Guidelines and implement into clinical practice.
- Identify the complex symptomology, appropriate diagnostics, & current treatment modalities for Cushing’s disease & Acromegaly
- Describe normal pituitary development and the current indications for conducting genetic evaluation
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Continuing Nursing Education Group, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Total hours approved is 6.08.
