Hello again,    would you suggest that my family doctor orders the blood work and see if it warrants a referral to an Endocrinologist  or should I ask for a referral to the Endocrinologist immediatly?

Thanks.

I'm sorry, I should have included it in the last one.  It was in my first response to you, here it is again.

Finding an open minded doctor is always helpful. Make sure that they do the right testing. For example, did they do full thyroid testing or just TSH? On the Get Answers link there is an article about questions to ask your doctor. That article also lists recommended tests. You can always review that with your PA. Good luck and keep us posted.

Take care,
Tammy
