The possibility of undesirable side effects is naturally a major concern of women deciding about supplemental testosterone. I don't think it is recommended.

Any women here who use testosterone replacement? was created by MartinaC

My pituitary was destroyed during surgery 15 years ago. Ever since I've used either DHEA or testosterone because it helps increase my energy a bit.

I'm on testosterone now because my doctor thinks that DHEA products aren't reliable enough. All along I've used Androgel and to get the correct dose, which is very small compared to a man's, I've filled syringes with Androgel so I could use their markings to measure the amount I need.

Now my old syringes are almost wiped clean of markings and I need to get new ones but I can't get the needles off the ones my doctor prescribed. Anybody out there have this problem or have a solution?

Thanks.
