I do not have any medical training so I cannot answer your question specifically. The best advice I could give is to seek the help of a pituitary specialist who can help you. We have a list of specialists on our website who may be able to help you.

Anyone know anything about lymphocytic hypophysitis? was created by JaneTX

All blood tests come back normal, imaging normal, yet symptoms of vision problems, amenorrhea, polyuria - all greatly improved with 40mg of prednisone - sound like lymphocytic hypophysitis. Also dx with Microscopic Lymphocytic Colitis. Gallbladder removed in 2016 (no stones or sludge, just nonfunctional) now suspecting Lymphocytic Cholangitis. Esophagitis in 2017 - Eosinophilic Esophagitis was negative but now suspecting it was Lymphocytic Esophagitis. dx with autoimmune thyroid without Hashimoto's antibodies, now suspecting Lymphocytic Thyroiditis. Definitely looks like a problem with lymphocytes now. So infiltration of the pituitary/hypothalamus seems a logical guess. Does anyone have any experience with lymphocytic hypophysitis? Diagnosis? Treatment?
