That's a pretty big problem, I pass through it too. It's a known fact that you cannot get a good sleep while having the sleep apnea
and when I had it, I was afraid to sleep, I was thinking that I could
die if that piece of tissue in the back of the throat will collapse. After healing it, I was afraid to fall asleep also. This
caused me insomnia and on the first nights after healing, I couldn't
sleep unless I took a pill of Teva 74. No mattress can help you when you know that it's possible to stop breathing while sleeping.

For a sound sleep, you should start meditation and I would recommend you use a good mattress topper. I'm sure you will feel better and can sleep without any problem.

Insomnia was created by Jae

I am about four years late ;o). I had my surgery five weeks ago today and I am lucky to get 4 hours of sleep. I am up all the time. I am exhausted and just want to feel better. If either of you check back let me know if you are sleeping better. BTW my docs said I have sleep apnea but I cannot deal with that now, I am still healing.
