Hello,
I am not a medical professional but I have heard that everyone has different symptoms before and after surgery. What might be common for some may not be common for others. I think it depends somewhat on the location of the tumor and the type of surgery. Have you asked your Dad's surgeon about these symptoms? I think that would be a great place to start.
Take care, Tammy

My dad just had a non-malignant pituitary tumor surgically removed. The surgeon was very happy with the procedure and said they got 100% of it out. A few days later, my dad is now home and he has a few symptoms I'd like to ask about. 1) He hears a sound constantly that he says is like a truck idling. 2) His hearing is worse than normal. 3) His sense of taste is all but gone. Does anyone know how common these symptoms are and how long they will persist?
Thank you!
