Meet the Presenter:
Linda M. Rio, M.A., MFT

Linda Rio is a Marriage and Family Therapist and practices in Camarillo, CA. Linda specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents in addition to working with adults and families. She teaches and lectures on a variety of subjects but is particularly passionate about helping professionals and the lay public understand the effect hormonal disturbances have on emotions, behavior, personal and family relationships.

Linda and the PNA's Robert Knutzen have tried to spread the message at state and national mental health association conferences as well as speaking to pituitary patients and family groups. Additionally, Linda co-authored a book with her daughter, Tara, about eating disorders that has been distributed throughout the U.S., the United Kingdom, and translated into Portuguese for distribution in Brazil. Linda's publishing history includes numerous articles for professionals as well as magazine and newsletter articles for the general public.
