The specialized UAB Pituitary Disorders Clinic provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with complex problems, including pituitary tumors, pituitary hormone abnormalities, growth and development problems, and related disorders. In the clinic, patients receive individualized care, which is strengthened by a multispecialty approach that involves experts in neurosurgery, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, endocrinology, and neuropathology. Special services such as Petrosal Sinus Sampling are available.

Neuro Services at UAB encompass the combined efforts of the Division of Neurosurgery and the Department of Neurology, which was ranked highly in U.S. News & World Report's review of "America's Best Hospitals." Care is provided through 14 distinct services that offer specialized evaluations and treatments. These services include stroke, epilepsy, computer-assisted neurosurgery, vascular neurosurgery, movement and spinal disorders, neuroimmunology, nuclear imaging, and more. Each service also focuses on research into the causes and new treatments for neurological problems.

Based at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), the Health System includes a comprehensive medical center and community clinics. The hub of the UAB Health System, the 900-bed UAB Hospital is Alabama's major tertiary care center. Praised in the book The Best in Medicine and national periodicals, UAB Hospital is the teaching hospital for the University of Alabama School of Medicine. For UAB Neuro Services, the hospital houses a state-of-the-art 60-bed neurology/neurosurgery nursing unit, a 21-bed neuro-intensive care unit, a neuroimaging unit, and a seven-bed seizure monitoring unit.

The Kirklin Clinic at UAB brings nearly every aspect of UAB adult outpatient care under one roof. The innovative clinic includes advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities and space for approximately 660 physicians in 35 medical specialties. It is connected by skybridge to UAB Hospital. The combined neurology and neurosurgery clinics at The Kirklin Clinic provide outpatient services for UAB Neuro Services.
