Acromegalic Known as Michigan’s Tallest Man Dies at 48

Mike Lanier, a 7-foot-7 acromegalic who was known as the tallest man in Michigan, has died. He passed away at age 48 from complications of pancreatic cancer and acromegaly. Mike's family graciously asked for memorial contributions to be made to the Pituitary Network Association. The PNA appreciates the multiple donations made to honor Mike Lanier. Read more here:
