UW Medicine’s Neurosciences Institute comprehensive Pituitary Program is a quaternary-care referral center. Our specialists are trained to treat a broad spectrum of conditions, from the overt and easily resolved to the complex.

Surgeons perform minimally invasive endoscopic procedures, which are safer and promote the quickest possible recovery for patients. We provide elective and acute pituitary care and can perform emergency surgery 24/7, 365 days per year. We offer weekly tele-consults for referring providers which can be coordinated by calling: 206-598-3313. Our Skull Base Tumor Board offers a multidisciplinary review of consultations.

Our Multidisciplinary Skull Base team draws on the experience and deductive skills of specialists in pediatric and adult endocrinology, radiology, oncology, ophthalmology and pathology, and the deft touch of neurological surgeons who navigate the brain, optic nerve, skull base and sinuses.
