Acromegaly Drug in Pill Form Shows Promise
A story in the San Diego Union Tribune looks at progress announced by a company called Crinetics toward a pill that can improve growth hormone levels in acromegaly patients. The preliminary results of the ongoing phase three clinical trial show that “83 percent of acromegalics who took the drug were able to maintain lower growth hormone levels”.
